HERSCHEL C. 'BO' ADCOCK, JR.

President/Owner

Herschel C. Adcock, Jr. was born in Monroe, Louisiana and has resided in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for more than 45 years. He opened his private practice in 1989, which is now known as The Law Offices of Herschel C. Adcock, Jr., LLC.

 

Herschel C. Adcock, Jr. received his Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University in 1983 and his Juris Doctor degree from Louisiana State University in 1986. He is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar, the United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Middle, Western and Eastern Districts of Louisiana.

 

Professional memberships are maintained in the Louisiana State Bar Association, American Legal and Financial Network (AFN), Mortgage Banking Association (MBA), Louisiana Mortgage Banking Association (LBA), and the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (NARCA). Mr. Adcock is a member of Parkview Baptist Church and former President of the Southeast Kiwanis Club of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

COREY J. GIROIR

Partner/Managing Attorney

Corey J. Giroir was born in Houma, Louisiana. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from Nicholls State University in 2006 and his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans in 2010.

 

Corey joined The Law Offices of Herschel C. Adcock, Jr. in 2012 after gaining experience in both insurance defense and foreclosure law. Corey is admitted in all Louisiana state courts and frequently travels the state representing the firm’s mortgage banking clients.

 

Corey focuses his practice on default resolution and real estate litigation.Corey and his wife attend St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plaquemine, LA.

PATRICIA A. BLANKENBAKER

Attorney

Patricia A. Blankenbaker was born in DeRidder, Louisiana. She earned her AA in Paralegal Studies and her BA from McNeese State University. She was employed as a Real Estate Paralegal for 15 years. In 2011, She received her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

 

She was the recipient of the CALI Award for excellence for both Real Estate Transactions and Civil Law of Property. In 2011, she was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Alpha Theta, and Phi Alpha Delta.

HAROLD “HARRY” E. CRADIC, III

Attorney

Harold “Harry” E. Cradic, III was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated from Jesuit High School in 2002. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Catholic University of America in 2006.

 

He received his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 2014. While at SULC, he served as Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, President of the Federalist Society, and Representative to the American Bar Association. He was also the recipient of the CALI Award for Excellence in Legal Research and the Chancellor’s Leadership Award.

 

Harry is admitted in all Louisiana state courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

ALICIA B. COOK

Attorney

Alicia B. Cook was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is a current resident of Watson, Louisiana.   She received her Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2003.  While working full time as a Sheriff’s Deputy, she attended Law School and in 2010 received her Juris Doctor degree from Southern University Law Center.  She was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in October 2010.  She continued to work for the Sheriff’s Office until she secured her retirement in 2013.

 

After gaining experience as debtor’s counsel, Alicia joined The Law Offices of Herschel C. Adcock, Jr. in 2017.  She is currently a member of Louisiana State Bar Association and is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, as well as, the United States District Courts for the Middle, Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana.  Her areas of practice are primarily bankruptcy, collections and replevin.

RONNIE BERTHELOT

Attorney

Ronnie Berthelot was born in Lutcher, LA.  He graduated from Louisiana State University in 1973 with his Bachelor’s degree and earned a Master’s degree in 1975 in Exercise Physiology.  After teaching for several years, Ronnie went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University in 1982.

 

He has over 35 years of litigation experience in many areas of law, including commercial litigation, banking, and collections.  Ronnie is Martindale-Hubbell AV rated.  He is a admitted in all state and federal courts in Louisiana.
